When you engage in turtle conservation, your role includes participating in night patrols, collecting and relocating eggs, and nurturing the next generation of sea turtles. The Leatherback Turtle, Earth's largest turtle species, relies on your support for its survival. Its distinctive, flexible, and rubbery shell leaves it susceptible to both predators and poachers.
The Green Sea Turtle, recognized for its sleek shell and greenish skin, ranks among the world's largest sea turtles. Your assistance is crucial in safeguarding them from various threats, especially when they come ashore to bask in the sun, where predators and poachers pose a significant risk.
Participating in our volunteer program puts you at the forefront of efforts to conserve sea turtles. Our main goal is to collaborate with local and international volunteers to safeguard these critically endangered sea turtles. Furthermore, we are dedicated to teaching the public the vital significance of protecting the marine ecosystem.
Come along, take part in something truly amazing, and influence the field of marine conservation. By working together, we can protect Costa Rica's amazing sea turtle population and marine legacy.
