Living in Harmony with Nature
During your stay, you'll experience a truly immersive connection with nature. You'll reside in rustic camps, often without access to modern amenities like water and electricity. Meals are a delicious taste of Costa Rican culture, featuring typical cuisines such as rice, beans, fresh vegetables, meat, and tropical fruits.
What to Bring
Being organized is key to succeeding in this unique environment. What you'll need is as follows:
- A Love for Nature: An abiding appreciation for the environment and a fervent commitment to its preservation.
- Readiness for Outdoor Living: Be prepared for physically demanding work and unusual hours, as much of the turtle nesting occurs at night.
- Essential Gear: Pack a sleeping bag, repellent, mosquito net, flashlight, batteries, rain protection (especially from May to November), sun protection, and a hat or cap.
