We are continuously seeking talented individuals for our internship positions, particularly those with expertise in communications, media, and marketing, as well as strong computer skills. Your contribution will be instrumental in spreading awareness about our diverse projects in Costa Rica, ensuring they attract more dedicated volunteers.
As an intern with Green Life Volunteers, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our dedicated team, including the Owner of GLV and the Costa Rica Program Manager, Janina Schan. This practical exposure will provide you with essential skills and knowledge that will prove highly beneficial for your future pursuits.
Once you successfully conclude your internship, you'll be awarded a certificate and a recommendation letter that will enrich your professional portfolio. Furthermore, we are dedicated to adjusting to your specific program or school prerequisites, allowing you to incorporate your internship experience into your thesis or significant academic paper. Many university students have conducted their research with Green Life Volunteers, and we are always here to support your academic goals.
What We Offer:
- Project Opportunity: Following your internship, we offer you the chance to join a project of your choice for a nominal weekly fee only. Say goodbye to the initial organizational fee, and only pay for your project's accommodation and food expenses.
- Flexible Work Schedule: Enjoy a flexible and relaxed work schedule. As a rule, you'll engage in work for approximately 6-8 hours each day, spanning five workdays per week. The exact hours may vary based on the Program Manager's schedule. This arrangement grants you the weekends free to embark on adventures and discover the enchanting Osa Peninsula and the marvels of Costa Rica.
- Host Family Accommodation: We arrange a comfortable host family stay for you, including three meals a day. The cost is just $149 USD per week. As a GLV intern, you won't be burdened with the first week's sign-up fee, only the weekly fee to cover your accommodation and food expenses within the host family.
- Pura Vida Work Environment: At GLV, we prioritize a fun and "Pura Vida" work environment attitude. We believe that work should always be an enjoyable experience.
