Become a volunteer and support our initiative to combat single-use plastic, create eco-friendly products, and promote social integration in marginalized communities. Join us today!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and society? Join our volunteer program, where you can actively contribute to our project's mission of promoting a circular economy through upcycling and fostering social integration in marginalized communities.

Environmentally, the project combats single-use plastic by transforming 1.4 kg of plastic, primarily sourced from bottle caps, into eco-friendly products such as skateboards, ping pong paddles, and beach tennis rackets. Our collaboration with local restaurants and schools ensures a consistent supply of plastic, promoting its reuse and reducing its environmental impact.

Socially, our initiative prioritizes the social integration of marginalized communities living in our neighborhood. Located right in the heart of a skatepark, our project makes skateboarding accessible to kids at any time, democratizing this exciting sport.

Our ultimate goal is twofold: raising awareness about the pressing issue of single-use plastic while creating a positive social impact within marginalized communities.

By becoming a part of our volunteer program, you actively engage in an initiative deeply rooted in sustainability, ecology, social justice, and innovation. Your involvement offers a profound insight into the interconnectedness of these diverse issues and their corresponding solutions, fostering a deeper understanding of these intricacies.

Volunteer Tasks:

  1. Separate the Plastic: Help sort and separate plastic materials for upcycling.
  2. Shred the Plastic: Assist in the plastic shredding process to prepare it for transformation.
  3. Help with Production: Contribute to the production of eco-friendly skateboards and paddles.
  4. Assist with the Children: Support kids at the skatepark, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
  5. Raise Awareness: Get involved in spreading the word about the significance of minimizing single-use plastic and the advantages of upcycling within our community.

Join us in contributing to change, creating a substantial influence on the environment and the welfare of marginalized communities. By working together, we can shape a future that is more inclusive as well as sustainable.
