Why Volunteer for the Caribbean Wildlife Project in Costa Rica?

The Caribbean of Costa Rica is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including capuchins, Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, anteaters, felines, raccoons, kinkajous, and over 300 species of birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Our project focuses on:

  1. Beach Cleanup and Plastic Recycling: We take action by cleaning the beach and recycling plastic waste, reducing environmental harm.
  2. Wildlife Observation: We gather valuable data on the region's animals, enhancing our conservation efforts.
  3. Biological Corridor Conservation: Our collaboration with other organizations aims to create a biological corridor across the North Caribbean, facilitating the movement of various species to maintain genetic diversity.
  4. Habitat Monitoring: We monitor animal populations, collect behavior data, and study their habitats for informed conservation decisions.
  5. Reforestation: By sowing and nurturing trees, we actively work to protect wildlife habitats.
