Participate in Our Volunteer Program in Costa Rica and Plant a Tree! At First Hand Costa Rica, we're committed to environmental conservation and sustainability. That's why we've initiated the "One Tree per Volunteer Program" in the lush landscapes of Costa Rica. When you join any of our volunteer projects and register directly through our convenient form, we'll plant a tree on your behalf.

Discover the Bosque de los Voluntarios - Volunteers' Forest, situated within the enchanting Bananito Reserve, nestled in the heart of the Biological Corridor 'Bosque de las Madres' on Costa Rica's picturesque Caribbean side. As a token of our appreciation, you'll receive an exclusive certificate of sponsorship for the tree we plant in your name. If you prefer, we can issue the certificate in the name of someone special, making it an eco-friendly gift they'll cherish.

Please note that tree planting takes place during the months of March and November, depending on the rainy and dry seasons. Consequently, the timing of your stay may influence when we can send you a photograph of your tree.

It's important to highlight that the Costa Rican government recognizes biological corridors as vital tools in the battle against climate change. These corridors work to connect fragmented forest areas through a variety of measures, facilitating the movement of animals and plants while preserving genetic diversity. For further insights into the Biological Corridor 'Bosque de las Madres', visit the Fundaciòn Cuencas de Limòn's link provided here.
