UN’s Sustainable Development Goals:

This program is ideal for
Volunteers who think that surfing is such a cool sport and would love to learn it. Alongside surfing, you should also want to support underprivileged children and teach them the importance of quality physical education. As your tasks will vary based on various factors, you should be open to helping out in any kind of activity that is prioritised while you’re there.
Your day will be divided into two halves as follows:
Mornings
You will be assigned to a physical education program that works in tandem with our elementary schools, where volunteers are assigned to local public/government schools. The majority of schools lack the necessary tools to run a sports program, thus volunteers must be adaptable and use their innovation. Volunteers will only have 1-3 periods of Physical Education each day, lasting roughly 1-2 hours, and the rest of the day will be spent assisting teachers with lessons in the classroom. This can change based on the day's events or the volunteer's ingenuity and initiative in conducting their physical education sessions with the youngsters.
Structure and Services
Depending on the location, available resources, and quality of skilled staff, some schools are extremely highly structured and managed, while others lack infrastructure and resources.
The majority of these projects are supported by subsidies, contributions, and grants.
The students you will be teaching range in age from 6 to 13 years old.
Monday through Friday, you will be assigned to a school for the specified hours.
Afternoons
You will spend two afternoons every week learning to surf with a competent surf instructor.
Your two-hour surf session will include pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation, a surfboard and wet suit, a fully qualified surf instructor, and images (snapshots) taken with a GoPro.
When you board our bus and when you get off, we are a fully insured company with a competent coaching staff. Every week, you'll take two lessons in surfing. Please be aware that these classes rely on the weather, so you must be adaptable to account for such circumstances AND any other bookings we can combine you with to provide a good experience.
