This program is ideal for

Passionate volunteers who have a love for nature, biodiversity, and sustainable practices. They should possess a hands-on approach and enjoy working in multicultural settings. Volunteers should be compassionate and have a genuine interest in promoting social inclusion and supporting vulnerable groups such as migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals with disabilities. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to different activities based on the season are also important.

Are you ready for a unique volunteer experience in Italy that combines sustainable farming and social innovation? Our Sustainable Farming program in the heart of the Rome countryside offers you the chance to make a real impact while immersing yourself in the beauty of the Italian landscape.

As a dedicated volunteer, you'll collaborate closely with local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to tend to vegetable gardens, nurture the nursery enclosed within, and engage in practical manufacturing and craft tasks. However, this endeavor extends beyond agriculture, as it actively supports asylum seekers and individuals with disabilities in acquiring valuable professional skills, fostering a positive impact on their lives.

This is a multicultural, sustainable, and ecologically conscious initiative where you'll work alongside migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, people with mental and motor disabilities, the elderly, and children. It's an opportunity to embrace diversity and contribute to social inclusion models.

If you're a hands-on volunteer who's passionate about nature, biodiversity, and sustainable solutions, this project is perfect for you. The profits generated from these activities, when available, directly support projects involving refugees and other local non-profit associations dedicated to tackling social issues.

Please note that your tasks may vary depending on the season, so flexibility is key. The minimum commitment for this project is two weeks, ensuring you have a meaningful and immersive experience.
