This program is ideal for

Animal lovers who are passionate about wildlife conservation and rehabilitation. Volunteers should have a genuine interest in providing care for injured or orphaned animals and helping them on their journey to recovery and eventual release back into the wild. The program is well-suited for individuals who are comfortable with tasks such as animal feeding, cleaning enclosures, and assisting with rehabilitation efforts. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work with a variety of wildlife species, including sloths, raccoons, macaws, monkeys, and more. The sanctuary in Alajuela provides on-site accommodation and meals for volunteers, creating a convenient and immersive experience.

Volunteer with Green Life Volunteers for Wildlife Sanctuary Project in Costa Rica. Become a part of our team at Green Life Volunteers and contribute to our mission of assisting a Wildlife Sanctuary situated in Alajuela, Costa Rica, nestled within the picturesque Central Valley near San Jose. As a volunteer at our sanctuary, you take on a crucial part in providing the animals with food, cleaning, rehabilitation, rescue, and assistance in returning to their natural habitat.

The Costa Rican Wildlife Sanctuary is committed to helping injured animals heal and making sure they are prepared for release back into their native environment. Some animals, due to their inability to thrive in the wild or domestication, make the sanctuary their permanent home.

Our primary aim is to grant the resident animals a superior quality of life. Numerous species, including sloths, raccoons, squirrels, macaws, parrots, anteaters, bird raptors, monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife, can be found on the sanctuary's grounds. To sustain our operations, we depend in part on the support from visitor entry fees.

Wildlife Sanctuary Alajuela: The sanctuary was relocated from Limon to Alajuela. We host a diverse array of animals and are firmly committed to rehabilitating and releasing them. Volunteers can enjoy on-site housing in a shared mixed dormitory, complete with prepared meals. Join us today to make a meaningful impact on wildlife conservation in Costa Rica!
