Established in 2004, the Our Generation Voluntary Organization (OGVO) focuses on empowering youth to dedicate their free time to international volunteering, internships, and cultural exchange initiatives in Ghana. As a non-profit, non-governmental African organization, OGVO has always emphasized meaningful programs. Their involvement encompasses various mission works, notably volunteerism across diverse fields such as schools, orphanages, and hospitals. Additionally, they engage in community services and fundraising efforts to construct or renovate deteriorated structures in remote Ghanaian areas.

OGVO takes pride in uniting individuals irrespective of cultural, linguistic, gender, or racial differences, fostering a healthy environment for volunteers and interns. Their projects suit individuals on a Gap Year, Career Break, or those seeking short-term volunteer opportunities. Collaborating with individuals, groups, and organizations in Ghana dedicated to development, OGVO offers a wide range of opportunities to global volunteers wishing to be part of their Ghanaian volunteer community.

OGVO operates based on core values such as inclusivity, intelligibility, honesty, trust, integrity, excellence, and effective teamwork to achieve their objectives. Their tactical objectives encompass encouraging educational, cultural, and social travel, fostering a spirit of common understanding, coordinating educational and work exchange programs, offering practical assistance without borders, and instilling the spirit of voluntarism and service to humanity in the youth. Legally incorporated and registered with specific codes and numbers, OGVO is dedicated to making a difference under the guidance of its management and staff, led by Frank Odoi, the Founder & Director based in Ghana, along with committed individuals handling various crucial roles.
